Small-Scale LNG and LNG Bunkering in Turkey

Emission control measures are getting more stringent in the shipping industry in order to comply with United Nations’ global targets. LNG as a marine fuel is one of the viable alternative fuels for maritime transportation and it has a significant positive effect on air pollution as it provides complete removal of SOx and PM, reduction of NOx up to 85% and reduces CO2 emission by at least 20%.This book provides deep insight into LNG as a marine fuel and proposes a model to develop an LNG bunkering supply chain while utilizing qualitative and quantitative research methods.This book may be of interest to bunker suppliers, shipowners, port/terminal operators and policymakers as well as maritime professionals and students interested in the decarbonization of maritime transport.   (Tanıtım Bülteninden)
