Like in other nations, the Ottoman Empire experienced significant loss of life due to these outbreaks. While the government implemented various measures to combat these epidemics, they were unable to completely prevent them and fatalities persisted. This book offers valuable insights into the epidemics that occurred in the Ottoman Empire throughout different periods, as well as the government's response to them.
