The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is the most famous love story of all time. Starting with the hate between two rival families, Shakespeare’s play moves towards its tragic conclusion through scenes of fighting, love and desperation, but also with moments of fun and humour. The theme is still relevant today: the impulsive nature of young people against the traditional ideas of the older generation.
